The publication A Décima Ilha (2022) by artist Margarida Andrade is the motto for the artist's conversation-performance with environmental activist Ana Monteiro.

The book, set in the distant future, tells the story of a post-human civilization - the navególogos - who, in their search for D. Sebastião Mergulhador and Jesus Cristo Agricultor, come up against a series of obstacles that make them rethink their relationship with other species.

This conversation-performance uses excerpts from the book to propose a reflection on the current climate crisis, crossing scientific, artistic and literary areas in an attempt to create a place for recognizing and overcoming the anguishes, anxieties and fears arising from the current social context.
