“ALWAYS IN FRONT OF ME THE BLUE SEA, THE IMMENSE SEA, THE ENDLESS SEA”

The project was developed by Halfstudios and resulted from an invitation from the City of Lagoa, São Miguel Island, to Walk&Talk to commission a new mural project for Porto dos Carneiros, a fishing port in the centre of Lagoa. Halfstudios' proposal came from the poem “Symphony of Color” by the Azorean author Armando Côrtes-Rodrigues and occupies a set of walls that create a horizontal composition, a continuous and common reading of all the architectural space, in relation to space and the fishing activity.
