Sonotopeia, from the Latin sonus (sound) and centopeia (centipede), is a space for collective musical creation that works with listening, the body, and the imagination, with a special focus on collaborative processes with children. It was born of the meeting between Alexandre Curopos and Luísa Matos, musicians and educators who share a taste for inventing things that do not yet exist with others. Through voice, movement, and image, they develop projects in which sound serves as a common ground, fostering group creation.
