Mariana Sales Teixeira, fine arts. Born in Maputo, Mozambique, 1990, in 1995 moved to Portugal, to São Miguel island, azores. Graduated in fine arts - sculpture, Master in Drawing and Printing techniques at FBAUP. Her practice revolves around drawing and its multidisciplinary universe, through ceramics, print, textile constructions or photography; from the artist book to installation. Co-founded OCO - Oficina de Criação e Ócio. Works and lives in Porto. The island is home.
