Joana Moreira is a Psychologist, has bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Health Psychology, with a thesis on psychosocial risks in the workplace. She holds a postgraduate degree in Clinical Sexology, Couples Therapy, and Victim Support Techniques. She works at APF-Azores and was one of the founders of the (A)MAR-Azores for Diversity project, which she coordinated during its early years. She currently coordinates the same project at the APF Center in Terceira. She has been a psychologist at ILGA-Portugal since 2022. In addition to sexuality, activism, political participation, and occupational psychology, she is interested in psychopathology, art, and culture. She has been practicing in private practice since 2023 and has been creating and collaborating on artistic projects.
