Diogo da Cruz is an artist based in Berlin and Lisbon. In the production of objects, installations and video works, his practice has been materialising partially fictitious scenarios that refer to past, present or future socio-political circumstances. Myths and speculations are created from scientific references, historical documents and experiences of specific geographies, with the strong intention of stimulating critical reflection on the systems of knowledge that have been exploiting and colonizing so-called “nature”.
