CARA LAVADA is an interdisciplinary and experimental Azorean collective dedicated to artistic creation and production. Notable among its projects are the Natália Correia Centennial Celebrations (2020–23), the production of the short film Mátria (2023), and the curation of the exhibitions Do Tempo e das Nuvens (2024) and SOLSTITIUM (2025). Since its inception, the collective has collaborated with institutions such as Anda&Fala, Arquipélago — Centro de Artes Contemporâneas, Museu Carlos Machado, Teatro Micaelense, and Centro Cultural Caloura, and has had its work presented in countries including the U.S., France, and Argentina. In 2025, CARA LAVADA was selected to participate in Walk&Talk — Arts Biennial, where it presented the project Geoteluric Orisons.
