Autonomy and sexuality intertwined+info
06 aug — 21h
Autonomy and sexuality are infinitely intertwined. From Freud’s unconscious, through Clarice Lispector’s subject of desire and Derrida’s phallogocentrism, this conversation-workshop seeks to reflect on individual and collective impositions, oppositions, and limits, as well as the possibilities surrounding sexuality and the body: body-territory, body-map, body-narrative, feeling body, body-identity. Conceived as a space to discuss, think, and feel autonomy within the sphere of sexuality, the workshop approaches thinking and feeling as exercises both of and for autonomy. Moving through inevitable intersections between different disciplines, and reflecting the multi(la)titudes of the concepts themselves, it ultimately seeks to imagine possibilities for authorship over one’s own story(ies).
