UPDATE - New information on May 5th


In view of the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic in Portugal and in the World, we believe it is not the best moment to disclose the results of the Walk&Talk’s Open Calls 2020 - Young Creators, Artist Residencies, Journalists and Pavilion. We decided to postpone this announcement once more, until May 5th, a time when there will certainly be new information about the Portuguese situation and, in particular, the region of the Azores.

We take the opportunity to thank all the authors of the 246 applications received, in the four calls, and we regret the context in which we unexpectedly find ourselves. We continue our cultural mission, now, with even more commitment, and we prioritize guaranteeing working conditions, safeguarding well-being and commitments to artists, curators and members of our team, professionals who face an increased situation of job vulnerability, due to the impact of the pandemic on the crystallization of cultural and artistic activities on a global scale.

The virus has come to dominate our lives, little can be planned or designed. However, spontaneous manifestations of solidarity are being witnessed all over the world and values such as humanism, cooperation, collective responsibility and, especially, individual are affirmed, because fighting the progression of the pandemic depends a lot on the behaviours of each person.
