Summer is the season of harvests, of warm and free bodies, of picnics, games, and naps in the sun. It’s made of days that feel endless, of memorable encounters and moments of wonder. The Summer Excursion promises to be no exception.
Through artistic practices and what connects us to places, this is an invitation to practice Gestures of Abundance (the theme of the 1st Walk&Talk Biennial) — to create, harvest, walk, and share — and to summon the spirit of mutirão (collective action). This excursion, which marks the closing of the Arquipélago X Summer School W&T Summer Course, will awaken our senses to inhabit time and place with care, guided by experience, connection, and discovery.
Lucas Sangareau, a young farmer with extensive experience in regenerative production, has participated in national and international projects that promote collaboration between natural species. He defines himself professionally through his personal restlessness.
