Fundos Europeus para as Artes e Cultura e Criatividade+info
3/4, 5 oct — 18h—22h , 10h—14h
The seminar aims to provide motivation, knowledge and the ability to identify funding opportunities for artistic and cultural projects.
Firstly, it provides a brief overview of the EU programmes available to Portugal that can fund projects in the field of arts and culture, distinguishing between what subsidiarity programmes are, i.e. what was Portugal 2020, what is the new Portugal 2030, what are the Operational Programmes, how does the regional organization work? What is the role of the Autonomous Regions; how are they articulated with the new Recovery and Resilience Plan and the programs under the Direct regime with the European Commission, whose management is direct between the beneficiary and the European Commission. Which of these are the most relevant to arts and culture?
Secondly, it explores specifics of how to turn an idea into a project, the main elements to take into account before formalizing the application: the logic of open calls, where to submit the applications, how to register in the European databases and all the necessary formalities.
Finally, it will give some practical tips and tricks for finding the right partners and inspiration for “champion” projects in the arts and culture sector, in the hope of motivating and giving an understanding of how other institutions have accessed EU funding, by fostering dialogue and the exchange of experiences.
